ROCHESTER – Kenneth M. Root, director of membership for the Small Business Association of Michigan, was recognized with an a 2014 ?Emerging Leader? Diamond Award Wed. Sept. 17 during the Michigan Society of Association Executive?s 13th Annual Diamond Awards Banquet in Rochester.
Root was recognized for his contributions to the association industry and potential future accomplishments within the association management profession. ?Ken helped develop strategies to grow and enhance the SBAM Leadership Council and Strategic Partner program — both integral to the success of our organization,? says SBAM President and CEO Rob Fowler. ?I?m very pleased that Ken has been recognized by his peers in the association profession for his tremendous leadership ability.?
