KALAMAZOO ? The RFID User Group is changing. Starting in June, the group will meet four times a year and focus on completed pilot-project case studies to show case what?s working, and not working, in RFID.
The June 30 meeting will feature Cid Gomes, an IT Consultant, from Cold Links will review the results of a cold-chain temperature tracking pilot recently completed for the Perishable Product Group of the RFID Technology Center. Gomes will examine the RFID implementation issues and lessons learned from the project.
The meeting is scheduled for 5:30 p.m. at the BlueGranite headquarters in the Business Technology and Research Park. Deadline to register is June 27. Contact Christine Blankemeier at (269) 353-7512 x 20).
The fall RFID user group meeting will take place on Oct. 12 from 8:30am-Noon at the annual RFID Technology Center Summit, which this year will be co hosted with Automation Alley.
