PORT HURON ? A tour of a Port Huron-area paper mill, Domtar Inc., followed by Pizza and networking are on tap as GLIMABluewater hosts its next event scheduled for Sept. 14.
The mill has an annual paper production capacity of more than 102,000 tons. GLIMABluewater members and their guests will get a guided tour of the plant to show everyone exactly how it all happens, and what technology is used in the paper industry. Then it?s back to SC4’s M-TEC facility to enjoy some pizza and networking time with fellow GLIMA members.
Please wear appropriate attire for touring plant which excludes tank tops, shorts, and high heels. Safety glasses and hearing protection will be provided by plant.
The tour is free for GLIMA members and $10 for non members. Everyone should meet at the M-TEC facility at 5:20 PM on Sept. 14. RSVP by Sept. 12 at GLIMABluewater.Org
