GRAND RAPIDS – NuSoft President Keith Brophy will look into his crystal ball again this year and make some predications on the hot technologies on the horizon at a Feb.23 event hosted by glimaWest.
For the past six years, Brophy, a leading technology consultant and Microsoft National System Integrator, has outlined his vision of technology and its impact on business for the upcoming year. In the past, Brophy has predicted trends around security, as well as predicted the 2003 technology industry upswing.
?I try to make this speech fun while still hitting on what I feel are the real relevant trends for the upcoming year that will make a real difference for many businesses? Brophy said. ?During my speeches, I give an overview of many applicable solutions, while highlighting some of the ?extreme? technology as well. I enjoy discussing the future of the web, mini-robots and speech recognition, while I also touch on some traditional things like mobility and collaboration.?
With a long and successful career in developing technology strategies for both West Michigan and national corporations, he is well equipped to present these trends, and even provides a scorecard on his prior year predictions. During his presentation, Brophy will take a look back at 2005 and grade how certain technologies have fared and what he expects to see from the year ahead. The concepts are drawn not only from Nusoft?s research and experience, but also from publicly disclosed conversations among industry thought leaders among our associates and clients.
The tech swammy will make his 2006 predictions at the glimaWest Tech Trends Event on February 23 from 5:45 to 7:45 pm at The Watermark Country Club, 5500 Cascade Road, Grand Rapids.
