TROY ? Nominations for awards to honor the best technology and technologists in Southeast Michigan, to be announced this fall at the Automation Alley Gala, close Aug. 1. Nine awards, including Emerging Technology Company of the Year won By MITechNews.Com in 2001, are up for grabs.
The Gala will be held in the Diamond Ballroom at the Rock Financial Showplace on September 14. The black-tie event includes networking, a gourmet dinner, cigar lounge, martini bar, dancing and live entertainment. Previous years have consistently attracted more than 500 attendees and this year’s event is guaranteed to sell out. Tickets to the event are available through Automation Alley’s Web site at a cost of $125 per person for Automation Alley members and $150 for non-members.

Award winners, selected by a panel of judges, are recognized for being innovative leaders with vision and influence in the technology community in Southeast Michigan.
