ANN ARBOR ? Southwest Michigan First and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation. are the premier sponsors for the 2005 Michigan Growth Capital Symposium, a two-day event that brings together hundreds of entrepreneurs and potential investors from around the country.
Southwest Michigan First will also host a reception at the event, from 7:30 ? 9:30 p.m. opening day of the symposium, June 15. This opening day reception has traditionally served as the anchor networking opportunity for participants. This year, US Secretary of Commerce Carlos Gutierrez has been invited to speak. Attendees will be introduced to entrepreneurial programs, projects and successes from both Ann Arbor and Kalamazoo at the event, titled ?A Tale of Two Cties.? The event is scheduled for June 15 and 16 at the University of Michigan Ross School of Business in Ann Arbor.
