ANN ARBOR – The IT Zone is pleased to be working with a project team from Ann Arbor Area Chamber of Commerce Leadership Ann Arbor class of 2006-2007.

Leadership Ann Arbor is in its 23rd year. Each class has 55 current and future leaders of the community that agree to spend one day a month for eight months learning about the institutions, organizations, companies and individuals that make Ann Arbor great.

In addition to the days in the field, class participants are asked to work on a project or issue that would result in something of value to the community. Significant contributions have come out of these projects ? including the Ann Arbor Gold Gift Certificates, the American Cancer Society?s Raising Awareness in the Community breakfast, and Board Building at Nonprofit Enterprise at Work.

The IT Zone team is working on ways to introduce Ann Arbor area technology companies, professionals, and entrepreneurs to the IT Zone. They?re proposing ways to develop a stronger brand identity for the organization and to more clearly identify and communicate the value proposition of IT Zone membership.
