WEST OLIVE – The Great Lakes Ag-Tech Business Incubator, a non-profit corporation that provides farmers and entrepreneurs hands-on support to commercialize farm their inventions, will host its grand opening December 1 at 10 a.m.

Special guests include Congressman Bill Huizenga, Senate Majority Leader Elect Arlan Meekhof, Representative Roger Victory, and Representative Joseph Haveman, who will be making a major announcement involving this first-of-its-kind Ag-Tech Business Incubator.

Many of the Great Lakes Ag-Tech Business Incubator?s clients, sponsors and partners will also be at the event, sharing their comments about the innovative partnership. The Incubator?s success is directly tied to the strong involvement of the agricultural community, as well as the unique services that clients receive which allow them to rapidly commercialize their ag-tech ideas and generate sales quickly. The Incubator?s Board of Directors is comprised of both private and public sector professionals who will direct and oversee the Incubator.

Entrepreneurs, farmers, and business owners with equipment, machinery, software or other agricultural specialty product ideas may apply for services from the Incubator. The event is open to the public and will be held at the Fillmore Complex located at 12220 Fillmore Street in West Olive.
