ANN ARBOR – Grady Burnett, head of sales and marketing for the new Google office in Ann Arbor, will share the details of why Google is excited to be in Michigan at a special IT Zone event Oct. 12 held at the Michigan Information Technology Center.
Burnett will also speak about what’s new at Google, centering on the radio advertising market with their acquisition of dMarc. Other discussion topics will include the local advertising market opportunities and how Google plans to work in that space.
Burnett is responsible for hiring, customer service, account management and sales efforts supporting the Google AdWords advertising program. Prior to building the Ann Arbor office, Grady managed the national agency team at Google headquarters in Mountain View, California, which oversees Google’s relationships with advertising agencies, search engine marketing consultancies and resellers.
For five years prior to joining Google, Burnett worked at DoubleClick, where he became Vice President of Agency Sales. In addition to his career in advertising and management, he was a professional tennis player for three years. He is a graduate of the University of Michigan and has an MBA from the Harvard Business School.
