GRAND RAPIDS – GLIMAWest is hosting a special educational track on April 27 at the Steelcase Learning Center that will explore Intranet portal strategies using collaborative solutions such as Microsoft Sharepoint.
The seminar will be presented by Progressive AE President and CEO Bradley Thomas and Information Technology Manager Don Turkstra. They will discuss the challenges facing the architecture and engineering industry in developing intranet portals.
“Many businesses face challenges such as overcoming silos of information that prevent access to that information from all parties that could easily improve operations if they had access to it,” Thomas said. “Come hear how Progressive AE is solving this issue with an implementation of an intranet portal solution.”
The event is scheduled for April 27 starting at 5:45 pm. It is free for GLIMA members and $20 for non members.
