GRAND RAPIDS ? GLIMAWest will present an update of the Grand Rapids Wireless Broadband Project June 29 at Aquinas College. Grand Rapids Mayor George Heartwell and other city fathers will provide the update.
A citywide wireless broadband network will benefit Grand Rapids in many tangible and intangible ways. Tangible benefits include public safety through increased information, providing an attractive business environment. A key goal is enabling the private sector to build, operate, and apply the network for in a way that is sustainable technically and financially.
