KALAMAZOO – Technology Trends is the theme for the second annual Technology Expo presented in October by GLIMASouthwest and its new partner, the Kalamazoo Regional Chamber of Commerce.
Heading the list of presenters is Keith Brophy, president of Business Development for NuSoft Solutions. Brophy has 20 years of experience in the software industry, including nine years in the Washington DC area working for IBM Federal Systems and Systems Integration Division. He will speak during a noon lunch on Oct. 5 at the Fetzer Business Development Center, Western Michigan University.
Also scheduled is Matt Hester, a Microsoft TechNet specialist with previous experience in Messaging and Collaboration Technology. Matt has several years’ experience with Microsoft core infrastructure products including Windows, Active Directory, Exchange and is a Microsoft Exchange Server Insider. He has additional expertise in the business value of technology including using Meta and Gartner tools.
Jim Soenksen, CEO of Pivot Group, a tailored Information Security solutions firm, is set for an afternoon presentation. Soenksen has over 20 years of experience in the information security, software, and service industries and is an expert witness and speaker on Information Security. He is currently a member of the Board of Advisors for the Metro Atlanta Chamber of Commerce.
