KALAMAZOO ? Halloween this year will have special meaning for GLIMASouthwest, which has scheduled its Technology Expo 2005 for All Hallows Eve day.
Witches and goblins may not be roaming the halls at the Western Michigan University Fetzer Center Oct. 31, but keynote speakers Dick DeVos, Republican gubernatorial challenger to Michigan Gov. Jennifer Granholm, and Michigan Rep. Jack Hoogendyk (R-Kalamazoo) will be. The Republican duo is scheduled to talk about Michigan?s technology future at 11 a.m.
Presentations also will be made by Microsoft – Business Solutions, CISCO, Compuware, eSoft, ADTRAN, and Wave7. Admission is free.
The Expo starts at 9 a.m. and runs through 4 p.m. ? well before the sun sets, and things that go bump in the night bedevil Kalamazoo.
