DETROIT ? The 2005 version of GLIMASoutheast?s annual State of the Net presentation will be all about the state of Wireless technology. The Power of a World Without Wires is scheduled for Oct. 6 at Comerica Park?s Tiger?s Den.

GLIMASoutheast President Sara Gozmanian said industry executives, who are leaders in their fields, will share insights from equipment, network and business application perspectives, thus providing attendees with a comprehensive understanding of where the industry stands today and how it will evolve in the future.

“Helping business professionals understand the impact,

opportunities and challenges associated with wireless solutions will be

key in furthering the success and development of individual efficiencies

and overall business objectives,” she said.

A roundtable discussion with the local leaders from state and county leadership will open the event and address Michigan?s leadership position in the wireless industry and county-wide initiatives that are underway to provide wireless access to constituents and the progress of these programs to date.

A Key Note address and executive insight panel follows the roundtable discussion. The Key Note speaker and executives from our panel discussion will also take questions from the audience, and be available after their presentations to network and meet our guests.

The pre-registration cost to attend is $25 for GLIMA Network members and $40 for non-members, and includes complimentary hors d’oeuvres and a cocktail. Tickets will also be available at the door for $35 and $50 respectively.
