PONTIAC ? GLIMASoutheast will host two of its signature Sunrise Seminar in November, one providing a sneak peak at the new Microsoft Office and SharePoint Server 2007 and the other on the Dos and Don’ts of Networking.
The Microsoft event is scheduled for Nov. 14 at the Oakland County IT Building Auditorium in Pontiac.
NuSoft Solutions Development Practice Manager Adam Wilburn will provide a sneak peak of the new Office client applications. He will also lead a discussion focusing on SharePoint?s transformational technology, which includes components for collaboration, content management, business process automation and integration with other Office solutions.
The second GLIMASoutheast Sunrise Seminar on Nov. 29 will look at the Dos ad Don?t of Networking. Troy-based Master Business Coach Barry Demp is the featured speaker at the seminar, which will explore the possibilities and intricacies of the important and essential skill of network building.
The presentation will include a dynamic group dialogue, in which participants can learn some of the most effect networking practices to support their professional and personal success. Attendees will also be sent a free networking document that includes over 50 best practices and an invitation for a complimentary follow-up group coaching session to enhance their networking mastery.
Both Sunrise seminars run from 8 ? 10 am. Both events are free for GLIMA members and $10 for non-members.
But the networking event will be held at Automation Alley?s headquarters in Troy, at 2675 Bellingham Drive.
Pre-registration for the Microsoft update ends on Nov. 8; and for the networking event on Nov. 24. After that you have to pay by cash or check at the door.
