TROY – GLIMASoutheast concluded its 2005 event schedule with a bang, attracting more than 100 people to its annual Holiday Party, Dec. 7 at the Blue Martini Birmingham.
The event, co-sponsored by Xerox, also collected three large bags of toys and an additional $435 in cash donations for the U.S. Marines Toys for Tots program.
Several companies participated as donors in the GLIMASoutheast Holiday Party Raffle, including Chanel, New Horizons Computer Learning Centers, Salon Bashar of Birmingham, Italmoda of Royal Oak, and, individually from, Detroit singer-songwriter Liz Larin. Winners were chosen from among those that donated a new, unwrapped toy or $10 to Toys For Tots (see below for a list of prizes, donors and winners).
