TROY?Some of Michigan?s top executives in the wireless industry headline the list of speakers for GLIMASoutheast?s annual conference October 6th at Comerica Park in downtown Detroit.

The State of the Wireless: The Power of the World Without Wires features

Siemens Midwest Regional Manager Chris Thelander as the keynote speaker. Thelander will help participants understand the opportunities, risks and challenges of this dynamic industry.

Washtenaw County Director of Information Technology David Behen, Oakland County Deputy County Executive/Chief Information Officer Phil Bertolini and Michigan Broadband Development Authority Chief Operating Officer Robert L. Filka will tackle the wireless issues they find facing the state of Michigan and share their insights as to What does the Wireless County initiatives mean to me as a constituent?

Verizon Wireless Executive Director Lindsay Notwell, RF Connect Vice President and Chief Technical Officer Michael McKay and Nortel Leader of Mobility Solution Council Seth Atkins close the event with a panel discussion. Cocktails begin at 6 p.m. and the program runs from 7-9 p.m.

If you register by Oct. 3 for the event, the cost is $25 for GLIMA members and $40 for non-members and includes a drink coupon and complimentary hors d?oeuvres. Post-Oct. 3rd registration cost will increase to $35 for members and $50 for non-members and can be paid at the door by cash or check only.
