TRAVERSE CITY ? GLIMANorthwest and Alcatel will co-host a seminar and demonstration that will help businesses identify and eliminate network security risks on Feb. 24 at the M-TEC Building on the campus of Northwestern Michigan College.
The event, scheduled from 6 ? 8 p.m., will address the following issues:
How to leverage network devices to enforce security
An overview of antivirus options
How to deploy and enforce policy mandates (not just security)
Intrusion detection alternatives
How easy and quickly an Alcatel appliance can enhance your security profile
How to automatically quarantine users, without manager intervention
Attendees will also experience a hands-on demonstration of a multi-service security platform.
The presentation is free for GLIMA members; $5 for non-GLIMA members. Light refreshments and snacks will be served.
