PORT HURON ? GLIMABluewater has elected a new chairperson, Robert Cruickshank, a seasoned technology professional who works as a Technical Service Engineer at the SBC Business Communications Service Center in Port Huron.

In other board changes, Tom Kephart of Kephart & Associates has resigned as Chairperson of the Communications Committee. He has been replaced by Ann Carrier a St. Clair County Community College Web Developer.

GLIMABluewater Membership Chair, Vickie Ledsworth and Chapter Historian, Doreen MacDonald attended the Greater Port Huron Area Chamber of Commerce mixer on Wednesday, June 8. GLIMABluewater recently became a new member of the Chamber to help bring awareness to the business community about the mission and benefits GLIMA offers. GLIMABluewater was offered a table at the event to display information on benefits, upcoming events and membership applications. Congratulations to Miki VanCamp from SBC who won a free 1-year membership to GLIMABluewater at the event.

Upcoming Events: Sept. 12 5:10 p.m. Take a trolley ride leaving from the M-TEC Building (on SC4’s campus) at 5:10 p.m. to tour BioPro in Port Huron.
