KALAMAZOO ? On May 26, Southwest Michigan First will host an informational session on how businesses can export goods and services to China, Japan and Mexico. The two-hour session is co-hosted by M-TEC and the Michigan Economic Development Corporation (MEDC).
MEDC has services to assist Michigan manufacturers at all levels of export experience, from beginners to those seeking to expand into new international markets. International trade specialists provide assistance with in-depth and targeted export planning. Services include:
Researching the countries with best market potential
Developing an international strategy
Identifying and qualifying sales representatives, distributors, licenses, joint venture partners and end-users in international markets.
The program will be held Thursday, May 26 from 9-11 a.m. at the Southwest Michigan First Innovation Center. Registration begins at 8:30 a.m. There is no cost to attend, but space is limited and advanced registration required.
