DETROIT – ConnecTech is partnering with the International Association of Microsoft Certified Partners to hold a career fair for skilled IT professionals October 30 at Motor City Casino. Two four-hour sessions will be offered.

The Microsoft Partner Ecosystem, Temp-to-Hire: What to Consider, Top Essential Tech Skills for Today’s IT Pro. Registering for Session A B is your ticket to being able to upload your resume for interview consideration by Microsoft Partners.

ConnecTech is Michigan’s premier network for technology professionals, providing the tools, resources and opportunities needed for success. This event is free to ConnecTech members and $20 for non-members.

The career fair will feature Microsoft Certified Partners from across Michigan searching for skilled IT professionals with certification and experience in unified communications, SharePoint collaboration, virtualization, Microsoft Exchange, IT security, and experienced solution selling. Applicants can upload resumes prior to the Fair and register for educational sessions during the day. Partners will then review applications and schedule mini-interviews the day of the Career Fair with qualified applicants. Partners will also be available to met with attendees and discuss their firms and the positions they are seeking to fill.

The Career Fair will also feature educational sessions throughout the day for applicants who are interested in keeping current with industry trends. Some of the featured sessions include Being Part of the Microsoft Partner Ecosystem, Temp-to-Hire: What to Consider, and Top Tech Skills in High Demand.
