PORT HURON – BioPro was chosen for the Microsoft Extreme Small Business Makeover, valued at up to $25,000, part of the ConnecTech Port Huron Tech Expo in May.

The winner was revealed June 5 at the Quay Street Brewery. Finalists for the Microsoft Extreme Small Business Makeover also included Kerr Albert Office Supplies & Equipment, Mosher�??s Jewelers, Port City Communications and St. Clair Home Loans.

Local business owners were invited to apply for the Makeover, which was to be given to the company best suited for the process. Aimed at businesses seeking to use technology to help them grow and keep their data safe during these tough economic times, the idea behind the Makeover was to make a lasting difference for one company in the area.

Biopro was honored as one of the �??50 Companies to Watch in Michigan�?� in April of 2005. BioPro is dedicated to the design, manufacture, and distribution of assorted orthopedic implants and surgical devices.
