TROY ? Awecomm Web Strategies announced Monday it has been selected by Lombardo Homes and American Heartland Homes to provide web design, marketing, blogging and hosting services for ABC TV’s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition’s Detroit Project. Company executives declined to provide any financial information or describe how the project ranks compared with previous jobs.
American Heartland and Lombardo Homes will be building a new home for a Detroit area family as part of the ABC show?s format. Awecomm hosts Automation Alley’s web site.
The website will allow visitors to make monetary donations, donate food and goods, volunteer their time to help with the construction of the home, and allow a worldwide audience to gain access to information about the show. An interactive blog has also been designed and donated to the project by AWS that will give volunteers the ability to share their thoughts and emotions with the rest of the world.
ABC?s Extreme Makeover: Home Edition helps families who have had challenging lives, bad luck and desperately need a home makeover. They give these deserving families new hope, a new start and a new home.
