TROY – Automation Alley was recognized by the Troy Chamber of Commerce as one of seven 2005 Best of Troy award recipients. Winners were selected based on each company’s overall impact on the community.

The work the Automation Alley team has done to improve the technological image of Southeast Michigan has made a positive effect on the community, clearly identifying the Alley as a prime candidate for the award. Headquartered in Troy, its unique use of space, creative interior design and the valuable resources it provides to the community were all factors in the selection process.

“With more than 600 members throughout Southeast Michigan, Troy is

an ideal location for our headquarters,” said Ken Rogers, executive director, Automation Alley.” The city is at the center of a technologically rich region and has a high potential for continued growth.?

The 13th annual Best of Troy awards received 50 nominations, which were reviewed by the Troy Chamber of Commerce selection committee. The awards will be presented during the Troy Chamber of Commerce’s holiday luncheon at the Troy Marriott.
