TROY – Automation Alley member companies will present new tools and ideas that add to the advancement of virtual project collaboration at a special morning meeting Dec. 5 at Automation Alley’s headquarters.

Presenters include:

Julie Franks, Compuware, who will discuss how ineffective requirements are the cause of up to 71 percent of IT project failures and introduce an approach called “structured requirements.” This approach captures software requirements from the perspective of the user, complete with visual storyboards and traceable relationships to business needs.

Jeff Holth, Scate Technologies, who will present on the how organizations face the challenges of capturing and communicating best practices as competition drives them to perform at higher levels.

Guest Speaker from Daimler Chrysler Corp. will present a case study.
