ANN ARBOR – The Ann Arbor IT Zone will hold a special event, called What Is Your Life’s Work?, with the Ann Arbor Company of Friends on Sept. 27 at noon at SPARK Central in downtown Ann Arbor.

What Is Your Life’s Work? will be presented by best-selling author Bill Jensen who will discuss his latest book, aptly called What Is Your Life’s Work?: Answer the Big Question About What Really Matters?and Reawaken the Passion for What You Do. Jensen asked thousands of mothers and fathers and caring teammates to write letters to those they love and describe the legacy they’re leaving behind by the choices they’ve made.

In this discussion, he will expose the raw truths we’ve all experienced, the personal frailties and mistakes we’d like to hide as well as the proudest achievements we’d like to celebrate. Jensen will share with attendees how to find and leverage five distinct discoveries you will make about your life’s work, how to deal with the daily grind and still pursue your dreams, and how to view and address the specific challenges and work-life issues faced by women, Boomers, and new graduates.

This special event will be held from noon-2 p.m. with lunch catered by Zingerman’s Deli. The cost is $15 for members, $25 for non-members and $5 for students.
