HOWELL ? What are the benefits to Michigan for producing clean energy? GLIMALivingston will explore this question Nov. 6 at an Alternative Energy Summit scheduled for the Crystal Gardens Banquet.
Speakers include Mark Beyer, Director of Marketing for NEXT ENERGY, who will talk about how clean energy production can stimulate local economies, create jobs, business opportunities and build a high-tech industry.
Bryan Zaplinty, President of MTI ENERGY, will discuss the benefits of solar renewable energy.
Larry Kaufman of DTE Energy, will speak on renewable wind energy. Kaufman is often heard on the Glen Haege radio program speaking about energy efficiency issues.
The program will be held at Crystal Gardens Banquet, 5768 E. Grand River Ave in Howell, from 7:30 to 9:30 am. The cost is $20.
