ROYAL OAK – 2014 will bring two very important issues to the forefront for small business owners, the Personal Property Tax Exemption for small businesses will be on the August 2014 Primary Ballot. And, the minimum wage debate will most likely be on the November ballot. The SBAM 1500 Business Technology Consortium will discuss both of these issues and how it affects small business in Michigan.
The Small Business Association represents 22,000 small business owners in Michigan. SBAM represents members from all 83 counties in the state, helping members to break down the barriers to their success.
SBAM will discuss some of those barriers as well as the small business advocacy that SBAM does on behalf of small business in Michigan.
1500 Business Technology Consortium is a group of second stage businesses being formed with the sponsorship of a Custom Software Development company Unique Solutions of Advanced Technologies Inc. located in Royal Oak MI. This will provide a platform for IT companies and non-technical companies to collaborate with each other. The goal is to enable better communication between the two sides, get answers on questions.
Local second stage businesses with 5 or more employees are invited to attend FREE monthly meetings to share their business challenges with each other. Local IT businesses are invited to join and to provide advice and propose solutions to the challenges from local non-technical companies and similarly local IT companies can get the guidance from business experts.
