ROYAL OAK – On the episode of M2 TechCast, Baker College’s Doug Witten, associate dean of computer information systems and advisor to the cyber defense team, outlines the cybersecurity and IT training available at the college. 

Baker College offers IT programs at all its campuses, including three in the Detroit area. For the past eight years, at least one Baker College team – comprised of students in cyber defense bachelor’s degree program – has won or placed in the top three in the annual state collegiate cyber defense competition. Usually there are multiple Baker College teams in the top three. Two teams have gone on to win the national championship
