ROYAL OAK – Lawrence Technological University has been approved for a one-year, $100,000 extension to fund the LTU Collaboratory Gatekeeper Business Incubator. Mark Brucki, LTU Executive Director of Corporate and Community Partnerships joins M2 TechCast to provide all the details. He is joined by Cathy Koch, CEO of K-Tec Systems, an LTU Collaboratory Client.

The grant runs from April 1 through March 31, 2019, and was part of $1.7 million in state grants to support entrepreneurial resources.

The MEDC Grant is matched by the City of Southfield SmartZone funds independent of the City’s operational funds. The money is used for programming, events, and other uses to support economic development in Southfield and Southeast Michigan.
