ROYAL OAK – ITInTheD’s David Phillips and his business partner Bob Waltenspiel have helped launch the IT Career Academy that will provide training and certification for entry level IT positions in Flint.
Phillips joins M2 Techcast co-hosts Matt Roush and Mike Brennan to explain how the academy – in partnership with the Michigan Economic Development Corp and Goodwill Industries – hopes to help a lot of folks in Flint get good paying jobs in the tech world.
Phillips also would like to spread the training to the rest of Southeast Michigan.
