TROY – Automation Alley on Tuesday opened registration for a global conference in November scheduled for the Renaissance Center that is aimed at helping companies understand Industry 4.0 and help their global competitiveness.

The conference, called Integr8, aims to advance attendees’ knowledge and understanding of Industry 4.0 and to help companies enhance their global competitiveness. It is expected to attract 500 manufacturing and technology professionals from across the region and the world to discuss the integration of the eight technologies currently disrupting the manufacturing industry: cybersecurity, big data and artificial intelligence, additive manufacturing, advanced materials, robotics, the Industrial Internet of Things, cloud computing and modeling, simulation and visualization.

“As Michigan’s leading technology and manufacturing business association, Automation Alley is proud to present this one-of-a-kind global gathering, which comes at a pivotal time for the manufacturing industry,” said Tom Kelly, Automation Alley’s executive director. “Our goal in developing Integr8 was to create a global event centered around the people and technologies shaping our future. Integr8 is about Industry 4.0 education, but it’s also about creating actionable intelligence that manufacturers can take back to their factory floors.”

Attendees will enjoy breakfast and lunch keynote presentations, a technology expo featuring the latest in cutting-edge technologies and breakout sessions focused on advancements in manufacturing, how to overcome obstacles to adoption, financial ROI and blueprints for successful Industry 4.0 implementation. Speakers will include world-renowned manufacturing experts and Industry 4.0 thought leaders.

The evening before the conference, Automation Alley will host the Integr8 VIP Cocktail Reception by invitation only, from 5:30-8:30 p.m., at the new Little Caesars Arena in Detroit.
