We wanted to make sure you know about an innovative training model creating a reliable pipeline of talent for placement within Michigan’s talent-hungry tech industry.

Utilized by industry giants like Amazon and Microsoft, this job-training program combines state and grant funding, on-the-job skill-building and higher education for small and mid-sized IT/Tech companies.

Apprenti was started in Seattle by the Washington Technological Industry Association (WTIA) Workforce Institute. This nationally-recognized, apprenticeship-focused program, supported by the U.S. Department of Labor, was created to help close the talent gap and identify diverse talent to meet tech industry needs.
