Guest Speaker: Martin Thoburn of Duo SecurityMartin Thoburn is a filmmaker and Animator living in Ypsilanti, Michigan. With a background in Graphic Design, Animation, and Digital Media. Martin has produced and directed many short films, both animated and live-action. Determined not to be confined to any one medium, Martin continually explores photography, live video mixing, design, collage, animation, interactive art, and motion graphics.  He has produced work for local companies and major national brands.  His unique background has allowed him to explore working both in-house and freelance roles in the industry for over a decade.   Currently, he is the head of Media Production at Duo Security.

Martin will share his experience working as an in-house multimedia producer and creative at Duo Security.  Martin joined the company as a nascent startup with just a dozen employees that quickly scaled to over seven hundred in a few short years.  Over that timeframe, the creative team had to rapidly innovate and escalate their efforts and attention in a fast dynamic environment.  Maritn will showcase some behind the scenes stories of several significant projects and highlight how they are executed from start to finish, from brief to completion.
