Next Meeting: Monday, September 23 | 6:30 – 8:30 pm
Location: Carlyle Grill (back room) 3660 Jackson Rd, Ann Arbor, MI 48103
September’s Speaker: Andy Sacks – Big Red Hen Films
Since his days in high school, in 1963, Andy Sacks has used some type of camera to investigate, document, and record the common and uncommon people and activities that make the world go ’round.
Andy is based in southeast Michigan, and works freelance for newspapers, magazines, corporations and photo agencies. “It has really been a 50 year-long graduate course about life on earth. Yes on earth, above ground. Let the National Geo guys go into the caves,” he says.
Join us for our first fall meeting on September 23, when Andy will attempt to compress his fifty years on-the-job into a 25 minute show and tell session, something like his days in the fifth grade, only now with WiFi.
6:30 – Networking and food/drink orders
7:00 – Introductions
Please bring your appetite and thirst so that we can meet our room minimums.
If you want to bring a video for Show and Tell, please let me know via email (firstname.lastname@example.org), or bring it on a thumb drive to the meeting. (3-4 minutes max, .mp4 files preferred.)
