A Day of Diversity in Partnership with the Positive Zone Foundation and the City of Dearborn

From 7:30 am- 4:30 pm the Day of Diversity will engage the Arab, Latino, Asian, African, Jewish, Disabilities and LGBTQ communities focused on the current environment in policing, racism, stereotypes, media, and the do’s and don’ts of cultural etiquette. Community Policing, the LGBTQ Community, Corporate responsibility, Diversity in Journalism (alternative facts, real news), Muslim Identity, Women’s challenges in 2018, Human Trafficking, DACA, and marginalization will be the focus on April 19th! The bridges of divide have been fueled by the rhetoric of our political enclave but as a nation, we are strong and resilient. The Conference will address and face the continued challenges ahead in education, law enforcement healthcare, and corporate America.
