Iced Out Glima State Of The Net Set For March

DETROIT Neither snow nor ice. Well maybe ice postponed GLIMAs State of the Net bash in January, but GLIMA, undaunted, has planned another for March.

March 6 to be specific. But thats the only change. Everything from location to speakers remains the same. The event is scheduled for 6 p.m. at the GEM Theater.

It was unfortunate that the weather caused us to postpone the event, said
Jill Kumpula, GLIMA events chairperson. We were able to secure all our of guests and featured speakers again.


The event kicks off with keynote speaker, Thilo Koslowski, Lead Analyst and Director, Automotive Research, The Gartner Group.

Koslowski is followed by a panel discussion on the future of e-Business. Panelists include: Paulette Adams-Dzapo, Interactive Marketing Manager, The Taubman Company; Ed Chrumka, chief technologist, OnStar; David Coffey, Associate Director, New Media Technologies, PentaCom; Charles Kirkpatrick, Senior Vice President, CIO, Flagstar Bank; Jared Rowe, CTO, FordDirect.Com.

The State of the Net will be moderated by Mike Wendland and Matt Roush, both of WWK Newsradio 950. WWJ is a sponsor of the State of the Net event, as are Plante & Moran and Skidmore Inc.
