LANSING – Are you a leader in green chemistry and engineering? You are invited to participate as a presenter at the 2016 Michigan Green Chemistry and Engineering Conference, November 17 at GVSU’s Eberhard Center in Grand Rapids. The deadline to apply is Aug. 26.

The Michigan “GreenUp” Conference is designed to be a valuable platform for sharing information, networking, and learning. This year’s theme, From Impact to Innovation, explores the green chemistry and engineering journey—from ideas that promise to revolutionize the way we work and live (Ideation & Innovation), to evaluation of strategies that will meet technical and policy requirements (Assessment) and, finally, to application which addresses customer and stakeholder needs (Commercialization). Participants will travel the journey throughout the day’s presentations, selecting sessions of interest organized into two tracks: Technical/Research-based Findings and Practice-based Experiences.

Business leaders, engineers, chemists, researchers, teachers, policymakers, students and anyone else interested in moving green chemistry and engineering forward in Michigan are invited to participate in this conference.

Accepted speakers will be notified by mid-September.

If you have questions about the submission process, please contact Chad Rogers at [email protected] or 517-284-6851.

Submission deadline for presentation proposals is August 26 by 5 pm.
