Supported Intelligence is seeking a candidate to serve as Chief Executive Officer or Chief Operating Officer, beginning in the Fall of 2016. Application materials must be submitted no later than July 11.

The successful candidate will:

• Lead company sales and marketing efforts

• Oversee product development

• Manage investor relations; possibly lead a Series B raise

• Set and take ownership of overall company direction

This position reports to the members of the LLC and is located in East Lansing.

“We are open to considering business plans that involve expansion and relocation,” said Patrick Anderson, Supported Intelligence Chairman. “Compensation for this position will include a combination of base salary and cash and equity incentives.”

Supported Intelligence has developed a patent-pending Rapid Recursive method is a true breakthrough in decision analytics, and is at the core of our product and service offerings. Ours are the first commercial products in the world to make this method widely available. The innovation of our products has been recognized at least twice by national organizations, including the Edmund Mennis award for the author of an article in the journal Business Economics (2014) and the Corp! Magazine DiSciTech award (2016) for the company.

Supported Intelligence maintains a small number The Sectoral Business Decision Model analyzes the economic impacts of state policies in response to the EPA’s Clean Power Plan, or similar carbon reduction requirements in the electricity industry. This tool helps policy makers understand the consequences of proposed regulations, as well as helping electric utilities evaluate and plan for likely outcomes.

Intellectual Property. The company has taken deliberate efforts to protect its intellectual property. As of June 2016, the company holds two registered trademarks (“Supported Intelligence” and “Rapid Recursive”), has filed for a third (“SmartBracket”), and has 6 patent applications pending before the US Patent and Trademark Office.

The company closed a Series A round in mid-2013. These funds were used to support development of the core product, the Rapid Recursive® Toolbox, intellectual property protection, and modest marketing efforts. The company has demonstrated strong revenue growth in each year of operation. However, development costs continue to exceed revenue, as expected for a company at this stage. Since late 2014, the company has been funded by a mix of earned revenue and shareholder loans. At the 2016 annual meeting, the members approved the seeking of a Series B round of funding.
