DETROIT – The North American International Auto Show this week launched a completely redesigned mobile-focused website with improved navigation and functionality, allowing visitors to access detailed auto show information as well as relevant photos and video assets.

“The new website for NAIAS is unlike any other auto show website in the world,” said Paul Sabatini, 2016 NAIAS Chairman. “We benchmarked ourselves against leading global events when we set out on this massive redesign with our efforts centered on the user experience and access to content.”

The site’s refreshed and simplified look, combined with a content-rich site experience, improved search functionality, and optimization for mobile devices allows consumers to better interact with NAIAS online. The new NAIAS website will also provide social media integration and feature content from NAIAS’ Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube pages. Followers will find regular NAIAS updates as well as an insider’s look into all things automotive through the show’s social channels.

NAIAS.Com will be rolled-out in a phased approach, with the following content added to the site leading up to the start of 2016 NAIAS:

Virtual Auto Show

Expanded Media Center

IBM Data Asset Management Portal

Experiencing Detroit – Staying and Playing in the City (Travel and Entertainment)

Industry Events

Now in its 28th year as an international event, the NAIAS is among the most prestigious auto shows in the world, providing unparalleled access to the automotive products, people and ideas that matter most – up close and in one place. Administered by Executive Director Rod Alberts, the NAIAS is one of the largest media events in North America, and the only auto show in the United States to earn an annual distinguished sanction of the Organisation Internationale des Constructeurs d’Automobiles, the Paris-based alliance of automotive trade associations and manufacturers from around the world.
