TROY – RIIS has stepped up to become the new host and sponsor of the Detroit Chapter of Mobile Monday Michigan subsidiary for the balance of 2016.

“We had a great, steady location for five years at Compuware,” said Linda Daichendt, Executive Director of the Mobile Technology Association of Michigan. “Since leaving there during the firm’s transition, we decided to move around a bit to try to engage additional people in different parts of the Detroit metro area. However, when we recently learned that RIIS had expanded into larger space and was open to working with us on a long-term basis, it seemed like the right time and a great opportunity to once again settle down to a single location so our members can plan more easily where to find us for monthly events.”

The first meeting of Mobile Monday Detroit to be held at RIIS will take place on April 11 at 6:00 p.m. The topic will be “Securing the Internet of Things”. Speakers and other details about the event will be announced soon.

RIIS is located at 1250 Stephenson Highway, Suite 250, Troy. RIIS, an MTAM member and IT consulting company, has been in business more than 17 years. Their key areas of expertise include: customized software, mobile app development and security, and website development and optimization.

CEO Godfrey Nolan has this to say about the firm’s involvement with Mobile Monday Detroit: “RIIS is very happy to be hosting Mobile Monday’s. We’ve been attending Mobile Monday’s for many years now and see it as a very valuable asset to the local mobile community, and so are only too glad to support their efforts.”
