GRAND RAPIDS – The Iron Yard was launched in 2012, and became the largest code school in the country two years later, operating in 22 locations, including a first international location in London, England, to help solve and create real, lasting change for people, companies and communities through technology education. Melissa Birnie interviewed Tom Crawford, Mobile Engineering Instructor for The Iron Yard, to discuss the educational resources available for people pursuing the craft and lifelong adventure of technology and  equip them with the skills they need to both get started and progress throughout their careers and to talk about, the upcoming “Demo Day” event being held on June 30 at Bamboo Detroit. What is demo day, when is it, and who should be there?
