ROYAL OAK – Mark Becker, a partner at C/D/H, said his company has won a lot of awards lately, the 101 Best Companies To Work For, an employee-nominated award, for the fourth year in a row. C/D/H also has been named as one of the top 200 Microsoft Partners in the United States this year, out of 100,000 U.S. Microsoft partners. Becker said keeping your employees happy, keeps them loyal, and you’ll have happy customers as well, the reason C/D/H wins awards and has stayed in business for 26 years.
Becker said he just came back from the Microsoft Worldwide Partners conference in Toronto, where he spent a few days networking with some 20,000 attendees. It was clear to him that Microsoft has gone to the cloud big time, reflecting the move by businesses to the cloud. The cloud has taken the focus off the IT department and put it in the hands of the business.
As a result, C/D/H continues to grow. His payroll includes employees 34 employees, including 23 consultants. The companies headquarters is in Grand Rapids, but it also has an office in downtown Detroit to server Southeast Michigan. Each month, C/D/H hosts beer busts to meet and greet business and tech professionals. Another is planned for Detroit in September. Details to come.
