Deadline For $1 Million Accelerate Michigan Business Plan Competition Sept. 2

DETROIT – The 7th Annual Accelerate Michigan Innovation Competition takes place on November 3rd at Cobo Convention Center in Downtown Detroit. The $1 million competition – with $500,000 for first place – showcases the best and brightest startups in Michigan while highlighting the state as a powerhouse for business opportunity and next generation. The deadline for businesses to apply is Sept. 2. The student competition deadline is Oct. 9.

The event will solely revolve around company pitches and company booths for product demonstrations so that attendees and investors can experience disruptive businesses firsthand.

The competition will continue to be a prominent platform for companies to connect with 70 plus regional investment firms and will award $1 million-plus in cash and in-kind prizes this year with a $500,000 Grand Prize and many $25,000 highlight prizes.
